Gorgeous place/views (we saw a Buzzard!). facilities excellent washing up water, chemical disposal/toilets spotlessly clean. Loved the showers; no shower curtains and roomy/lots of hot water anytime of day better than my BF’s shower at home!🤣 Helen lovely can’t do enough for you Totally recommend, we’ll be back x Dave Marsh2025-07-15Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Really good pitches, and Helen was lovely. Very welcoming and helpful. It may only be 20 mins down the road. But we will definitely be returning. 😊 Bunty Stirling2025-07-15Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Stayed 10th to 13th July 2025 WOW - For all you discerning caravan and motorhome travellers, look no further!! This site is pure peace and tranquility and has to be 'The Jewel in the Crown' in North Wales touring parks! The pitches are very well planned with each unit facing the grass area of the pitch opposite, which is much preferable to looking directly into your neighbour's unit, however, that said, the pitches are very spacious thereby giving adequate privacy. Another good thought has gone into vehicle manoeuvring by the laying of two 'hammerhead' turning areas. The views are stunning with tree clad mountains one side and the other being the hills with the ruins of Dinas Bran perched on top. There is also a stream and a path at the bottom of the site leading up to the mountain. The heated toilet/shower blocks have high ceilings and are immaculate. The shower cubicles are very spacious with the immediate entrance inside each cubicle being the area for hanging clothes and towels, followed by the middle area for seating and/or to place clothes, toiletry bags, shoes etc. - certainly no chance of stepping back into wet footwear in this set up:), followed by the shower area with controls for the desired temperature and pressure. There is also a clean and adequately sized laundry room with three sinks/drainers together with a washing machine and dryer. The pretty village of Llangollen is only a five minute drive away or a pleasant twenty to twenty five minute STROLL if you prefer to walk (I've emphasised stroll because myself and my husband do exactly that, so minutes could be deducted should you wish to quicken the pace). We were fortunate to be staying during the last four days of the Eisteddfod which made for a fantastic atmosphere in the village. In our view, Ty Ucha will be a favourite for any lucky person who have been fortunate to experience the delights it offers and it will be early bookers who get to return for their chosen dates! To Helen (owner), a big thank you for all the love and thought that has gone into creating such a beautiful site (aka your 'Baby') and also a big thank you to your mum 'Claire'. BTW - the traditional red telephone box that remains in it's original position, albeit the shell only, is a lovely touch. Our stay has been an absolute pleasure and we'll most certainly be returning. neil fennell2025-07-14Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Our 2nd visit within couple of weeks. Amazing site, very clean and views amazing. All the facilities you need on site. The host Helen very friendly and helpful. Great tips on what to do locally. Will be back again no doubt. Leona Bylinski2025-07-13Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. We rented Ty Ucha Cottage and absolutely loved it! Perfect for a couples get away; with a large, peaceful and secluded garden and views of the hills. We used the BBQ/fire pit for all of our cooking and it's just a 25 minute walk into town where there are plenty of shops to buy supplies. We were lucky to have blazing sunshine the whole time we were there and there was so much to do in Llangollen town. The weather was so good we didn't get chance to cosy up in front of the wood burner fire, but that's something we may return for. Helen was very helpful and friendly which made our stay hassle free, we will definitely be returning. Lyndsey Johnson2025-07-12Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Absolute gem! We initially booked a four night stay here and added another two nights extra-as we enjoyed it so much. If you like peace and tranquility, I would highly recommend you visit Ty Ucha. The heated toilets/showers were like 4/5 star changing facilities in a gym (in my opinion) with pressure and temperature dials and no 'push button'. The huge pitches appear to be designed, to allow more than enough private space for everyone, but close enough if you fancy a chat with your neighbours. All pitches are fully serviced, which was more than we actually required but didn't feel like we overpaid. The relaxation that this site gave us was worth every penny. Helen was lovely and welcoming and it was lovely to chat to her Mum who runs another local site. We were lucky enough to wake up to several breathtaking views and if we were in the area, we would definitely stay again. Short walk to Llangollen, views across the valley and level pitches. Rachel Ledsome2025-07-06Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Beautiful site with stunning views. Toilets, showers, dishwashing and laundry facilities. Well spaced out pitches. Nice walk into Llangollen. Friendly/helpful host. 🙂 Ren Collier2025-07-01Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Absolutely beautiful place to come and rest Enjoy the well thought out and empathetically designed site with nature and the surrounding hills taken into consideration. Fully serviced pitches not on top of each. Toilet block and facilities probably one of the best I have ever been to. If you want a genuinely beautiful site to relax and enjoy the beauty of Wales this is the perfect site. You can walk up into the mountain, or head into Llangollen, or just sit and enjoy the view of Dinas Bran in the distance with cloud in the morning the rolls down the mountain to create the most dramatic scenes when it comes into view. Was fantastic, nothing was to much trouble for her . If you are thinking of visiting this part of Wales .I recommend Ty Ucha Caravan & Touring Park .
